Anilpuram: A sustainable world village
A true story of sustainability coming to life bringing transformation and hope to 100+ families
Anilpuram stands out as one of the foundation’s flagship project under the World Village Project. Located in rural Andhra Pradesh, India, this village is home to about 125 families from the indigenous Yanadi community, a traditionally marginalized tribal group facing challenges like flooding, poor housing, and limited access to resources.
Krishnapuram
The village houses 320 people and the World Village Project aims to transform it into a strong community and India’s first sustainable model village. This is the first village to start their very own production of mud bricks, leaf plates, and eco-friendly sustainable soaps for every day use.
Santhoshpuram
Santoshpuram is a tiny settlement of 100 tribal people set in the foothills of the Eastern Ghats of southern India. It was the first village to be adopted for the World Village Project and in December of 2019 the project was inaugurated and completed. Here every thing was built from scratch.
Mokkala Chenu
Mokkalachenu is a cosy village situated in the state of Andhra Pradesh in southern India. The village houses 179 people and has a total of 56 houses. One of our key contributions has been repairing damaged houses due to the rains. So far, 12 homes have been completely renovated.
