About the event

Bengaluru Bulls go beyond the mat: Learn, celebrate & recharge with Lokaa Foundation

This past year, Lokaa Foundation offered the Bengaluru Bulls Kabaddi team a unique experience that transcended the intensity of the Kabaddi mat.

It was a journey focused on holistic well-being, designed to empower them with tools for inner strength and sharper focus – both on and off the court. During a well-deserved break from their rigorous training schedule, the Bulls visited the serene Krishnapuram World Village. They also learned a powerful meditation technique that could be easily incorporated into their daily routines. This practice provided a space for the players to center themselves, improve their concentration, and boost their inner strength at any time. Armed with this newfound technique, the Bulls rejoined their training sessions with renewed focus.

They also celebrated an eco-friendly Diwali creating beautiful clay diyas. With their hands in the earth, the Bulls found a sense of calm and purpose, a perfect complement to their physical training. The festivities culminated in a vibrant celebration of traditional Kollatam dances performed by the Gandhipuram World Village team. The rhythmic steps and colorful attire added another layer of joy to the occasion, creating a lasting memory for both the Bulls and the villagers.

This collaboration transcended the boundaries of sport. It was a powerful experience of the power of mindfulness, sustainability, and cultural exchange. It proved that peak performance can be fueled not just by physical training, but also by inner peace and the joy of shared traditions.
